Refreshing Pineapple, Cucumber, and Aloe Vera Detox Juice

Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh pineapple (chopped) – Pineapple adds natural sweetness and contains bromelain, which aids in digestion.
- 1 medium cucumber – Refreshing and hydrating, cucumbers are low in calories and help flush out toxins.
- 1-2 tablespoons aloe vera gel – Use fresh aloe vera if possible; this promotes digestive health and has anti-inflammatory properties.
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice – Enhances the flavor and adds a boost of vitamin C.
- 1/2 cup coconut water (or plain water) – Coconut water adds extra hydration and a light, tropical taste.
- A handful of fresh mint leaves – Adds freshness and a hint of mint flavor (optional).
- Ice cubes – Optional, for a chilled drink.
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients: Start by washing the cucumber and mint leaves thoroughly. Chop the pineapple into small pieces for easy blending.
- Extract aloe vera gel: If using a fresh aloe vera leaf, slice off a piece, remove the outer layer carefully, and scoop out the clear gel. Be cautious not to include any yellow sap, as it can taste bitter and may have laxative effects. Measure about 1-2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel.
- Blend everything together:
- Place the pineapple chunks, cucumber slices, aloe vera gel, lime juice, and coconut water in a blender.
- Add a handful of mint leaves if desired for extra freshness.
- Blend until smooth and all ingredients are fully combined.
- Strain (optional): If you prefer a smoother juice, pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a jug to remove any pulp.
